THE LAMBING
FEATURE FILM IN DEVELOPMENT
A Folk-Horror set in Moffat, Scotland
When an American teen visiting her Scottish grandmother’s sheep farm notices the villagers changing in unsettling ways, her search for answers exposes an ancient power in the hills that tests how far she will go to stop it from consuming the village
I am an award-winning editor and filmmaker with a passion for telling heartfelt, emotionally resonant stories. Over the past 15 years, I have built a career navigating the space between commercial polish and independent grit, working across commercials, feature documentaries, and narrative filmmaking. I have honed my craft at boutique editorial houses and ad agencies for brands like Apple, Gatorade, and Lexus.
As a filmmaker, I am drawn to character-driven stories with a social impact. I produced and edited the feature documentary Desert Angel, which won the Jury Award for Best Documentary at the Austin Film Festival. My directorial debut, Trichster, and follow-up, Second Assault, have been featured on Amazon and ABC News, and are now used as educational tools in police training and universities across the U.S.
Recently, my horror short TOOTH premiered at Slamdance and garnered awards at over 40 festivals worldwide. I’m also actively involved in the independent film community as a programmer for the Salute Your Shorts Film Festival and the Slamdance Film Festival.
Currently, I am in development on my first narrative feature, The Lambing. It is a Scottish folk horror that blends supernatural folklore with a deeply personal story of anticipatory grief.
I have been making films since I was a kid recreating Britney Spears music videos and remaking SNL skits with my dad’s VHS camcorder. A lot has changed since then, but my love for storytelling has not. Whether I am editing a documentary, directing a horror film, or crafting a commercial, I am always looking for the human connection at the heart of the story.
